Jonas Edward Salk (born October 28, 1914 in New York City, New York) was a scholar who was best known for being a medical researcher who developed one of the first successful polio vaccines. Jonas died on June 23, 1995 and his death was because of heart failure. He died at age 80 but still rolls in his grave because of the ignorant anti-vaxxers in society.
